What is Awair?

Awair is a guided meditation app that combines meditation with helpful self-improvement ideas. Each meditation session begins with a story or lesson, asks thought-provoking questions, and finishes with meditation.

 

This three-step process helps you improve because it provides the education you need, promotes self-reflection, and helps you become more self-aware.

 

How is Awair different from other meditation apps?

Many meditation apps repeat the same message over and over again. Unfortunately, this repetition leads to boredom, increasing the odds that you’ll give up on meditation.

 

In addition to guided meditation, Awair aims to teach you valuable everyday skills while you meditate. Examples include making better decisions, building self-confidence, and forming good habits.

 

Our 10-minute meditation sessions tell interesting stories, share helpful ideas, and ask important questions—making every Awair session unique. This variety helps you stay engaged, increasing the odds that you’ll continue your meditation practice.

 

Why does Awair combine meditation with self-improvement?

Improvement is primarily a two-step process. First, you must learn how to improve. And second, you need to be self-aware enough to recognize when what you’ve learned would be applicable in everyday life.

 

For example, many people read about habit change but never apply what they’ve learned. A lack of self-awareness often explains why.

 

You see, reading about habit change is one thing, but being mindful enough to recognize and stop bad habits is another thing. Awair adds meditation to the process of self-improvement because taking a few minutes each day to examine your mind can make you more self-aware throughout the rest of your day.

 

This improved self-awareness helps you recognize when you are defaulting to bad habits, under the influence of strong emotions, or making poor decisions. This recognition gives you the power to apply what you’ve learned and improve your life.

 

What type of meditation will I find inside of Awair?

Awair uses a combination of mindfulness meditation techniques. Those include focused attention, noting, visualization, and meta (loving-kindness) meditation.

 

Do I have to pay to use Awair?

You can get started with Awair for free. A free account gives you access to 20 guided meditations and two soundscapes. A paid account gives you full access to all Awair content.

 

How much does an Awair subscription cost?

Awair offers three tiers of membership. A monthly membership is $14.99 per month. An annual membership is $99.99 per year. And a lifetime membership is a one time fee of $399.99.

 

Will my credit card be charged automatically?

If you sign up for a monthly or annual subscription, your credit card will automatically be charged every month or every year, respectively. Automatic payments will continue until you cancel your subscription.

 

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription:

 

  1. Visit the account page inside the Awair app.
  2. Click “Manage” under “Account Type.”
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Note: If you only see the option to “Upgrade,” you do not have a paid account.

 

How do I delete my account?

To delete your Awair account:

 

  1. Visit the account page inside the Awair app.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Delete” under “Delete Account.”
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Note: If you have a paid subscription to the app, please cancel your subscription before you delete your account. Deleting your account will not cancel your subscription.
